Okay I was running 11.04 EVERYTHING worked in Gnome Classic . . So I decided to make the jump to 12.04 to see if it was any better . . I spent the day upgrading to 11.10 piece of stuff, and as soon as it was restarted and running I up graded to 12.04
I am running in Gnome Classic in 12.04 . . I found a lot of things not working right . . And have been fixing them since 2 things I fixed with a search on the web for them . . I see that the indicator app is an old one ( 3.0.xxx ) I just up graded it to ( 5.00.xx ) and have to re start to see if it works right
