my ngc files end up with svg extension. how do i get the ngc extension

File extensions don't mean much in Linux. If you query an SVG file using the "file" command, what is the output?

Just so you know, you can get a ".PNG", change the file extension to ".DOC" and the file command will still tell you it's an image and not a Word document
