Problem with privileges during installation driver by jockey-gtk

Asked by mtfk

When I try install NVIDIA drivers using jockey-gtk I get message about that I need administrator privilege. There is no popup with asking me of sudo password or something like in other option in Administrator menu.

I solved this problem using console and type:

$ sudo /usr/bin/jockey-gtk

or the best solution is to edit menu and change command from:

/usr/bin/jockey-gtk

to:

gksu --desktop /usr/share/applications/software-properties-gtk.desktop /usr/bin/jockey-gtk

Please confirm this or demand.

And the question is if this is a bug and if it is where to put this because this is not a bug in jockey application this is only problem with command in Administrator menu.

Thanks a lot for You answer.
