i have installed kubuntu on Wubi application. do i need antivirus protection, or is the one from windows i have operating?

as i said. i just need a help. somebody tell me if i have to install antivirus protection, or not, when i'm using kubuntu installed with WUBI. maybe i don't need because it works virtually? i'm a beginner. thanks for advices.

But.. You don't need a virus scanner unless you want to protect windows machines in your network.

Or if you are on your personal desktop or laptop you need virus protection ONLY IF you use wine to execute windows programs...

3+ years on Ubuntu. 3+ years no Anti Virus. 3+ years no problems. Conclusion: don't worry about it. This isn't windows...
