Does the system have a make and model?

Usually F11 or F12 brings up a boot menu for you to choose the boot media

Tracie
Please keep all information and questions here. Question 635769. It is important for the person helping you to know certain things, to be able to help diagnose your problem. Need computer brand and which model it is. This will tell, which Ubuntu flavour you can use.

https://www.ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu-flavours

The above site lists all.

To find which release you have, press Ctrl and Alt and T buttons at same time. Then copy and paste this command
" lsb_release -a " (without quotation marks) in the window that comes up, press enter. Copy and paste the information, back here. With that information the person helping will be able to give the best solution to your problem. Below site will give Ubuntu releases.

Can you help with this problem?
