Updating to version 1.38 in Ubuntu 18.04LTE

Hi.

https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/liblingua-en-nameparse-perl

What would it take to get the latest available version 1.38 of Perl CPAN module Lingua::En::NameParse to be updated in Ubuntu 18.04 LTE? Current latest version is 1.36 in Ubuntu 18.04 LTE.

I suggest you report a bug. If the bug and security fixes are significant then the package will be updated sooner.

Ubuntu is not a rolling release distribution so packages can be left in favour of stability. This is particularly true of the LTS releases

Thanks. There are no security fixes, just updates. Guessing that filing a bug would lead to a similar answer/resolution.
