How to downgrade to prior version? Possible bug causing glitches?
Hi,
I'm trying to diagnose a problem. On an updating from 1.127.11 to 1.127.12, I started getting graphics glitches in some programs. For instance, both chromium and chrome immediately started having really bad glitches rendering them both unusable. There are some very minor glitches in the ubuntu software centre as well, however, I'm not sure if that's the same problem since I don't use it that much and might not have noticed if there were glitches preceding update. I haven't noticed glitches in any other context. Chrome updated on the same update, and I downgraded that; it didn't help, which isn't surprising since Chromium acted up at the same time and was not updated. (Ubuntu 14.04, Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E535)
I updated several packages and have been trying to figure out which one did it; I'd like to downgrade linux-firmware to 1.127.11 to see if it is in fact the culprit. However, the old package is not listed here or in apt-get so I don't know where to get it to confirm that the bug is in 1.127.12.
Or if you could confirm/deny that this is the probable package that caused the issue, that'd be great too :).
