lm sensors on 10.04

Asked by marcus aurelius

anyone had luck install lm-sensors on 10.04?

have tried a myriad of things and the applet indicates "no sensors found!"

however, running sensors-detect indicates there are sensors present.

Have you followed all the instructions on the sensors wiki page? (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SensorInstallHowto)

What happens when you type sensors in a command line?

Couldn't get it to work, so I got rid of 10.04 and install 11.04.
Seems to work in 11.04.

you need to run

sudo sensors-detect

to find sensors and add rows to auto load modultes to /etc/modules

Can you help with this problem?
