Access to My Documents

I almost had a heart attack today because of this issue...

I unable to access my Documents, Pictures, Music by way of the "Places" on the panel. I did figure out though that if I got to Places, click on Computer to bring up a window that contains in the Places that all of those folders have my documents.

Anyone help fix this? Its minor but its sort of annoying.

I still need help with this.

I have to click on places, then computer, windows pops up with with Documents, Music, Pictures folders. This is the only way I can access my files.

I can't just go Places then Documents.

Anyone?
