nautilus is stuck on fullscreen!

whenever i open the filebrowser it is on full screen with no title bar or anything i have tried resizing it and moving it but i cant make it normal. i diden't even open it on fullscreen i have seen others with this problem and it is something to do with compiz-fusion. in short, i cant see the title bar and the window is allways on top and i cant resize it or close it without using alt+f4

Try removing your compiz configuration to reset compiz-fusion:
Disable desktop effects in System -> Preferences
In your home folder, enter the hidden ".config" folder. You have to choose "Show Hidden Files" to be able to see that. Then remove the compiz folder which is inside the hidden".config" folder. Try enabling effects again after that.

after a while t unstuck, i reset my compiz fusion settings in the configuration menu.
