how can i install mouse?

i try to put the mouse in usb socket and the usb have light but the cursor doesn't move what should i do??

Hi
I take it that you mean the light on the mouse is coming on! have you tried to reboot it with the mouse plugged in? and is the usb mouse set to "on" in the BIOS? not knowing what kind of computer you have makes it a bit hard to help much.
