OpenOffice Fontwork

Asked by Dragonfly

After having write a word with Frontwork I can't use it easily (modify, move it). Work fine with OpenOffice draw but not realy with in OpenOffice writer.

Yes I know this request is "solved" here:

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+question/125411

We must use: "Ctrl + clic"

Though, I think it's not realy solved because everybody who use OpenOffice writer encounter the same trouble and seeks about this... I'm not right?
It was my case '-)

Hi

The whole issue will not be solved until the bug is fixed, that is true, but Launchpad Answers is all about helping people with their problems. So Solved in this context means that I solved Dawn's problem.

If you want you can go to

http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89920

and 'vote' for the change to just a single click. (You may have to register with OOo first).

Tony

PS As this answers your question, please mark it as Solved.

@Tony Pursell

Thanks Tony for your answer and this precision. So I will wait for an OpenOffice up date.
