Print into PDF file

Hello

I've a question and I would be glad if you know an answer.

In the printer configuratin I can choose "Print into PDF file". What does this mean? Thanks.

It means , you can view your printed page as a PDF document

Hi Hermanth

Thanks for your reply. I tried it. In OpenOffice.org I printed a file as "Print into PDF file". I got a PDF file in a new PDF directory. A printout didn't appear because a printer is not connected. If a printer would be connected would the file be printed? Thanks for your answer.

Well if u connect the printer and choose the connected printer in the print dialog box it would be printed... (provided the external printer is properly configured).. and in case u want a pdf file to be generated u can choose the print into pdf file option...

Yes , it will , rather you can export as a pdf file , open and print it :)
