Problem enabling sun-pdfimport.oxt extension.

Asked by Myroslav

I am using jaunty amd64 and open office 3.1.0, Build 9399. I have downloaded the open office extension sun-pdfimport.oxt extension and have added it with Extension Manager. I know there is something else to do to get it functioning, but I have forgotten what it is, and my on-line searches have not been fruitful. Could someone please help?

Hi Myroslav

Hi Myroslav

Having done the above, I can import a PDF into Draw just by opening it, then change text, etc.

There are a lot of restrictions. See

http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/node/874

You may me trying to open a complex PDF that this extension cannot handle.

I tried that and I get a lot of code and poor formatting. I guess
what I am trying to do is not do-able..

I will close this question as solved.
