How do you set up a pidgin account for instant messaging

I try to start a new account on pidgin and when I try for Myspace IM, I make up a name and then try to enable it. the n a thing pops up saying that it has the wrong password!!

You have to have an account on myspace to start. Then you can use the email address that you use for your login.

 There is no such thing as a myspace messenger!
