Any news for version 2.5.4?

There is a nasty bug preventing perl plugins to work in the 64bit version. Apparently this is fixed in version 2.5.4. Any news on when we might expect this to push through to Ubuntu sources?

looks like Jaunty Jackalope 9.04 is set to have Pidgin 2.5.3 built into the repos, but you can get 2.5.4 from getdeb right now:
