no voice/webcam in pidgin 2.6.1 in ubuntu jaunty 9.4
I can type messages to buddies but the 3 audio/video options under media are greyed out and cannot be used. I do have sound as I am notified when a buddy logs in. My sound method is `Alsa`but I do not know what to enter under Network preferences - I should say that I am new to Ubuntu and not tech minded. The settings I have entered under `Preferences` are:
Stun server - pop.aliceadsl.fr (this is my IP)
Enabled auto router port forwarding is ticked
Relay server (TURN) - smtp.aliceadsl.fr
3475 is already entered in the Port and I have not changed this but do not know whether it is correct?
User name - is my email address at aliceadsl.fr
Any assistance will be much appreciated but please make it simple, ie step by step
