converting attachments to other programs

When sending an e-mail with an attachment to anyone using a program other than open office the attachment can not be opened.

What sort of files are you sending? And what operating system is the person on the other end using?

If you're sending files to people using Windows/Office then you'll need to save them as "Microsoft Word 97/2000/xp" format.
