How do I start python-pydot? (Hardy)

Asked by Duncan Lithgow

I have been using graphviz from the cli and noticed this package as a GUI to graphviz. I have installed it, but it has no menu entry.
When I finally found it I still can't get it to start.
python /usr/share/python-support/python-pydot/pydot.py

Hello,

Pydot is programing library made to be used within a python program. Alone pydot is not directly usable.

Try the examples as shown in the dkbza.org website.

It is not told, but you first have to start python in a terminal.

Best Regards,

Olivier
