remote desktop from Ubuntu to Window ,XP or Win7

I try to connect on Window 2003 server from a Ubuntu 11. 4 as a 'remote desktop"

use rdesktop and you can connect to the terminal services, much like mstsc from windows. You will obviously need to have remote login enabled on the server side.

I do not know , because I can not dowload 'rdesktop' from the Software center,when I try i get the following message
"fail to dowload pakeges file , check your internet connetction', my internet connection is OK .
I hve log a BUG with Ubuntu launcpad

In a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T), you can type command:
   gksudo update-manager
and in Preferences, change the remote repositories you use to download packets.
If you are not in the US, you can choose a closer repositories. Sometimes, one repository can become temporarily out of connection.
