How to install on Mint

Sorry for the noob question, but what steps do I need to follow to install this on Linux Mint? I want to try RE2 engine, but can't simply install it with re2 tutorial.

I need to add something to software sources and then install package?

don't understanding much, but for me is so:
steps:
1- Download your preferred Mint version
and desktop preferred ( mate, cinnamon, Kde etc.. :)
2- Make the download by Torrent, is more fast and avoid download errors.
3- If your pc is relative new, make download of version x_64.iso
4- Install by pendrive, is more easy that DVD's :-P
5- Use o Rufus in Windows for make the pendrive bootable.
6- Reboot your pc, and choice in boot options your pendrive.
7-Install Linux Mint and be happy :)

Use the Mint forum please. Mint is not supported by the Ubuntu community in any way. It's support community is entirely separate from Ubuntu's.
