Is it too late to request an app to be made default in the next version?

Asked by Jon N.

Screenlets is the next best thing to fried bologna and white bread. Is there any way to get it to be a default app in Ubuntu 9.04 "Jaunty Jackalope"?

It would be sooooo cooool!

Jon,

Since ubuntu 9.04 development has reached the freeze stage(on feb 19th) Now we give more importance to make apps rock solid. So you have to wait until Jaunty+1 devel cycle begins I suppose...

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Jon N. for more information if necessary.
