root password

Binary package hint: seahorse

you do not have root password setup on your Maverick ubuntu x86_64 version 10.10 and it does not show up in passwords and Encryption keys under system Preferences. i can not install additional packages and can not update respositories

I can not log as root password other than terminal using sudo -i

and also it will not show up under seahorse
