simple scan doesnt work on my printer/scanner

I installed a driver for my new HP Photosmart 6510 printer. I can't use simple scan with my printer.

Thanks for replying. I solved the problem myself. I had to tell printer to send scan to computer while at the same time telling simple scan to scan.

I have to do the same with my hp m1217nfw MFP, I don't know why though.
