totem package

Totem will not leave fullscreen mode.

Totem will not leave full screen mode. pressing 'F' or clicking full screen in the menu does nothing. The full screen option in the menu is actually not highlighted.

This is something that seemed to happen out of the blue.

If you are using compiz 3D desktop effects, try disabling it.
Go to System -> Preferences -> appearance and choose "No Desktop Effects" and try again. Totem will work.
