tr3.00 occupy too much memory

I have installed transmission v3.00 on Ubuntu server 22.04 LTS. Totally I added about 200 torrents in process.
Through top command I observed tr takes more and more memory until RAM used up. When I shut down tr process, all memory comes back.
I used to install tr 2.94 on Ubuntu server 14.04 LTS, and all seems good. The memory usage keeps about 40~60 percent under the same scenario.
It seems not be a memory leak case, but I don't get why the process occupy so much system memory.
By the way, my platform :
Intel D2550, DDR3L 4GB.

I searched transmissionbt forum, and I found a similar issue, and it seems not be solved. The author changed transmission version for walk around.
I have tried to limit used memory for transmission-daemon, but it dose not seemed to be useful.
Finally I re-installed Ubuntu server 20.04 to use tr-2.94. The PC had work well for a couple of days. I used to install tr-2.94 in Ubuntu 22.04 under package instruction, but segment error comes up and it did not work.

Can you help with this problem?
