Please note installing using Wubi (Ubuntu inside windows) is not the best way to install Ubuntu.

A problem (virus, or ntfs partition damage) can be also destroy Ubuntu installation (Wubi installation made a big file into Windows system) so you will get an unusable system.

I strongly suggest you to install Ubuntu alongside Windows so you will get a complete and separate Ubuntu system.

In this way you can use Ubuntu as rescue system if your Windows have problems...

Some graphics cards require workarounds to install and run ubuntu. You can refer to this for more info: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1613132

It's best to run it off a CD (Try without installing) and then you can test boot workarounds to see what works.

Can you help with this problem?
