asus 4gb701 ubuntu 10.10 memory upgrade?

have a asus 4gb 701 running ubuntu 10.10 net - want to upgrade system memory to 2 gb - will i have to reinstall ubuntu?? thanks

No, Ubuntu will use whatever memory it finds.
