You use a wubi.exe installation ?
Why you don't create a regular dual-boot ?

Is not difficult , it might have this option on installer window.

You must download Ubuntu iso , create a live media (CD/DVD/USB) and boot from there to create a regular dual-boot Windows - Ubuntu.

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS can be found here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/precise/

Check here on how to create a bootable Usb-stick from within Windows:

Thanks
