recommended application in documentation doesn't install

In the "Remote Administration" section of the Ubuntu Server Guide, eBox is advertised as one method for remote administration. However, the package doesn't install on Intrepid (see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ebox/+bug/255368), and thus, the documentation describes an unusable method. This looks rather bad, especially when considering the intended audience of the Server Guide, which seem to be people rather new to running a Linux Server, judging by the kind of procedures and level of detail described in the Server Guide.

Should the documentation be changed so it doesn't describe a non-working application? Or should workarounds be presented to make it work? (see bug above for details) Or just wait for a working version of the package to be included in Intrepid?

I'm asking this because I'm just tranlating this section to German and didn't want the problem to go unnoticed.

Hmm, I deliberately posted this in ubuntu-docs, not eBox. I wanted people in the docu-team to know about this and be able to decide what to do on their end. I understand there is a need to keep things organized and structured to guide capacities to where they are most needed and useful. Still, I think it is also important to be able to cross-reference relevant Information so people in affected positions have all the information they need to make adequate decisions.

In this case, moving this out of ubuntu-docs means that documentation-team doesn't get any updates on whether the documents they provide are useful in any way.

Einstein put this quite well: "Keep it as simple as possible but not simpler.

This isn't meant to question anyone's competence or reasoning, just to try to improve communication where I see fit.
