Searching Social messages from home lens only shows only avatar icons instead of actual messages in saucy

Asked by Khurshid Alam

I am experiencing weird bug in social-lens. The bug report is here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-lens-friends/+bug/1254104. (However I am not sure whether it should be filed against home-lens or unity-lens-friends.)

Searching Social messages from home lens only shows avatar icons (even for non-avatar-name search term) instead of actual message. As a result, there no is way to differentiate among similar messages by looking at only avatar icons (twitter in this example).

However searching from social lens itself (unity-lens-friends) works fine.

This is not how home lens behaves for all other lens-es for example, when a music is searched by file name relevant results appear regardless whether it is searched from home lens or music lens itself. Hence Home lens works fine with other lens-es.

I am using twitter in friends app in saucy.

As you have reported a bug you don't need a question as well. All discussion regarding the bug should happen on the bug report, not in multiple places like this. Helps keep communication in one place :)
