How do I re-order the application icons in the unity launcher?

For instance, if I want the icons in the launcher to be in the order 'Firefox', 'Thunderbird', 'gnome-terminal', 'File Manager', how would I go about this? I would have expected something like in dockbarx where you simply drag and drop the icons so they are in the desired order.

Click and drag to the right, then put it where you want it

Thanks, that works well. (It's just not as intuitive as dragging directly up or down.)
