Ubuntu 11.04 everytime my computer wakes from standby the unity dock gets distorted

running 11.04 after entering password goes straight to desktop everything is fine except the dock it gets distored covered in white pixels

I have exactly the same problem with an NVidia graphics adapter (on a ASRock N68-GS 3 board).
