enable unity help

Asked by Brian Huff

I have disabled unity and now my desktop screen only has my folders on it. I cannot figure out how to open up anything? I do not know how to access the Compiz config so that I can enable it. Can anyone help with what I am sure is a simple answer.

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 and just downloaded the compiz config. I tried to enable the cubes but that messed up my screen size. I then disabled unity and restarted the computer. The desktop is will only show my Photo folders on it that I had placed there. I do not have anything else on the desktop and do not know how to access them. Can anyone help walk me through just setting it back to the default settings?
