11.04 Unity cannot select items from screen

When using Unity there are areas on the screen I can not select cards in games or rows in Calc.
I do not have this problem when using Gnome2.

is this a bug or is there a work around?

Update it has now happened in Gnome2.

Is there some way to check the system?
This seems to be a 11.04 problem, I have never noticed in previous versions.

I have changed monitors and it is still happening.

The area seems to be about 3/4 from the top of the monitor.

This problem has gone away
I think the problem has do with Ubuntu One backing up my system.
It was having a problem with Gnucash, it finally finished up loading and the pick selecting problem went away
