Stellarium No Launch Button 12.04

I have installed Starlarium, from Ubuntu Center, onto 12.04. Install is successful, but no launch button appears in the button bar. I have reinstalled twice, with same, and no button appears. How do I get a Launch button to the button bar, or to the desk top?? Thank you for your help.

How did you install it? It's not in the official repos...

Assuming you are using the default "Uniity" desktop then its is difficult to find in the menu

However if you click the top logo in the dash and start typing the name of the program it should appear.

Part of the problem is that you have the wrong name for the program it's "stellarium" not "starlarium".

On my system all I need to type is "ste" and I can see it.

Alternatively you can use the filter second icon along bottom, select filter results and it in "Science and Engineering".
