Remote control

Hi everybody

I am working in a computer with Kubuntu (server), I would like to work in it from home creating a remote connection that allows me to have full control of the kubuntu computer (I have in my home windows vista).

I know that Kubuntu have desktop sharing but the problem is that the connection last just for an hour an I need somebody else in the other computer to accept the invitation, That is not what I need.

I need to lock the Kubuntu computer (leave it on) and then go to my home and connect both computers somehow with anybody in the other place, can I do that?? if so please be very detailed.

With system > preferences > remote desktop you can decide to not ask for a password... but if you have professional requirements, you can choice ssh solution with X forwarding... if you're interested ask :)

I Want to have a password to connect both computers, but i don want to have somebody in the other side to accept the invitation, The connection trough desktop sharing last just 1 hour, i don't need that either.

Please tell me how ssh solution with X forwarding works. please be detailed and remember that i have KUBUNTU.

This is a very complete walkthrough.... ssh is quite difficult to configure, but results are fantastic :)
