Vino multiple input support for Lucid ?

Asked by BJB

Ubuntu Lucid will have support multi pointer (MPX extensions / XInput 2), is there any plan as part of the Vino effort to take advantage of this new feature ?

For instance, an idea is that each connected client should get its own pointer.
Multiple user interraction will hence be allowed at the same time : no more "mouse control fight" during VNC sessions.

Each VNC client connecting should be given a newly created master device (pointer & keyb) and the device should be removed as the client disconnect. Vino will then have to operate with this master device instead of the virtual code device. Such a feature could be activated using a checkbox "use per client input device" in the vino-preference.

Usage scenario :
 - checkbox for per client input device is checked
 - a VNC client connects : an xinput master device is created
 - any mouse move or keyboard event is directed to this device
 - the VNC client is used at the same time of the real display
 - the VNC client disconnect : the created master device is removed
