installing realvnc directory /man1 not found

Asked by ivanna

I use ubuntu 10.04. When I install RealVNC by typing './vncinstall /usr/local/bin', it says that 'directory /man1 not found'. Do I miss something?

Ubuntu already has a VNC server installed, just not enabled, called vino. Why not just use that as it is integrated in the OS.

If you still want to install the 3rd party app you could try:

sudo mkdir /man1

then try again.

Can you help with this problem?
