copy of world of warcraft

I'm new at Ubuntu and I have world of warcraft on an external hard drive ( it opens with windows), how do I make a copy of it using wine and put it on the same hard drive , i can't seem to find a way of making a copy of it .Would be put with a different name , like "world of warcaft 2 ", so i would have 2 wow in the hard drive but the one i want would be open with ubuntu (wine ) so I can get rid of windows .Game is like 40 gb , so i do not want to download the whole thing using wine... would take forever to do.Any help would be great. Thank you

You could symlink the install directory into the structure in ~/.wine/drive_c as this is the wine 'c drive' as windows calls it (sounds so ancient now).

You may need to actually install anew it in wine though as the installer will add registry keys and files in the windows folder and so forth. It is rare that apps of this nature are that portable. World of Warrcraft is the highest rated game in the Wine appdb and there is a good how to on the site in order to make it work
