where is xenman in hardy?

Asked by Alfred Rossi

I can't find the xenman package for hardy. I see that it was requested for removal in march but there is no indication as to why. Also, while I was digging I also found a package still in the repository that depends on it:

alfred@machine:~$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-xen-desktop
Reading package lists... Done
I am not sure what's happening here.

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ubuntu-xen-desktop: Depends: xenman but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

Hello

you can download xenman from here:

http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11041870/xenman_0.6-5ubuntu1_all.deb

and you can install xen-desktop

alternatively if it doesnt work please report a bug here

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xenman

Is there any chance xenman will return in the repositories?

Given they have changed their name to ConVirt (http://xenman.sourceforge.net/) I really doubt that.
What would be nice - they could add convirt to repos and put it as ubuntu-xen-desktop dependency.

Can you help with this problem?
