Touchpad Ubuntu 10.04 do not working at all

ACER TravelMate 7730, Ubuntu 10.04, gsynaptics 0.9.16-3.
Touch pad do not working in any way.
The strange is that wen i alternatively push Fn+F7 keys the system display the touch pad activation and deactivation pop image but it do not work at all.
The situation is the same If i remove from the system gsynaptics 0.9.16-3 from.

Try the boot options:

i8024.reset
and/or
i8024.nomux=1
and/or
irqpoll

These help touchpads most times.

The solution was done ghostly after periodic and automatic system update !!!!
But i do no know how it happen.
Someone know?

Probably a kernel update which would update the driver. If it's fixed then awesome :)
