When i installed Ubuntu i received a statement saying that I did not thae the nessessary hardware going to classic mode.

What are the two modes and what hardware do i need to get the other mode?

sudo lshw -C display; lsb_release -a

hi
If you update your graphic drivers it should fix the problem.
go to system + administration + additional drivers.
follow the prompts.
should be all good after that.
