i can't find the application install/uninstall in my pc

I just install the application add/eliminate in my laptop, I can't find where is it. According to the tutorial it must be in applications, but it is not there. Can you help me please.

You may try Applications -> Ubuntu Software Center
There, search for the application in "Installed Programs" or type the name of the application in the search field.
If it is rightly installed, should appear.
If it did not appear, maybe the application was not compatible with Ubuntu.

By the way, if you are looking for install/uninstall programs, you usually can do this by the Ubuntu Software Center. You can also install programs by the Synaptic or by the Internet.
