Hello!
In my old computer with XP I want to remove Ubuntu without deleting all information belonging to XP!
Howe do I do that?

I am using a newer ubuntu 7.10 with Vista on my labtop! It is working much better!
Could you at the same time recommend a OCR for Ubuntu 7.10 I would be happy

Yours
Christer

1. Use Ubuntu LiveCD to delete Ubuntu partions.
2. Recover the Windows loader - use Windows install CD, choose repairing system and in the command line use 'fixmbr'.

hello,or you can try this easy step:
1:Run windows xp
2:right click on 'my computer'
3:select 'Manage'
4:select 'Disk Management' under 'Storage'
5:and you can see the partition on your harddrive
but be carefull, dont erase "NTFS" OR "FAT32" but find for unknown partition, because Windows Xp can't recognize Ubuntu partition....right click on selected partition and click format...
That's all
Hope this helpfull..

Can you help with this problem?
