the clock is gone from the menu bar

Current time was showing on the right side of the menu bar in the desktop but disappeared, where can I reset this?

sudo apt-get --reinstall install indicator-datetime

Thank you, to reinstall the indicator-datetime restored the menu bar with the time and date showing.
