directx support

hey there, im bored like hell using windows, so i decided to use ubuntu. but im curious about, is ubuntu does directx support ? im a beginner game programmer who uses directx and c++ to develop video games. so, can i develop games using directx and c++ in ubuntu ? thanks in advance for your answer.

No, DirectX is windows only (and also, the latest DirectX versions are limited to the latest windows versions).

In ubuntu, you have full support for OpenGL so you would better use that, instead.
There is a partial and limited support for DirectX if you use Wine.
