Ubuntu One Client

What is the plan going forward for Ubuntu One? Is it just a file syncing service?

There are already lots of file syncing services, what is the plan going forward for Ubuntu One? Will there be other features? How can I make sure that I'll find out about new features as they become available?

There seems to be much planned, the current features are just the start in my opinion
