Can I submit feature requests/suggestions here?

I am sure that many have made suggestions, but is there a tracking system for feature requests.

I appreciate that currently U1 is a fairly basic file sharing system, but there's a lot more it could do.

I'd like to see it sync address book/calendar/memo's/tasks for Evolution at least... as well as present an API so any application (Eg tomboy, etc) can sync data seamlessly.

It'd be really nice if it wasn't restricted to a walled garden of the Ubuntu One folder... I really want to be able to right click on any file in my home directory, and sync or share in U1... Although any folder would be a start! :)

so far as I understood the launchpad platform, you could write your feature requests into the Blueprint Section.

Calling the Ubuntu One folder a walled garden is a bit insulting, but I do not believe that was your intent. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walled_garden_(technology).

Your ideas/feature requests are great, we definitely want to do those things. We do plan to make it so that you can sync any folder with U1, and we are currently working on enabling address book syncing for the whole linux desktop, not just Evolution. Calendars are something that we've decided not to work on this year, but they definitely fit into the scheme of the information that U1 will be able to help share.

You are welcome to file blueprints or feature request bugs for these or any other ideas you might have. The foundational work that we are doing to enable address book syncing is based on CouchDB, and any application developer will be able to take advantage of CouchDB and the replication features it enables beginning in Karmic. OK, fair criticism... it was the wrong term to use, I apologize!.. Although as you have said, you intend to allow it to sync any folder, so I guess the point was valid, if redundant.

Looks like you're well ahead of me TBH, but that's good... glad to see it!
