Storage

Asked by Reggie.Ballard

I've been trying out Ubuntu One and I have to say that it is very convenient but my biggest problem now that I think would lead to the long life of Ubuntu One is the storage space. The amount of space offered isn't realistic in today's world. I am also a MSN account holder and with Microsoft's Skydrive i get 25GB of online storage, also I have about 7GB of storage on my e-mail account so only offering 2GB for free may be a little impractical. My question is "Is there any way that more free storage can be available?" and if so when will it become available.

Thanks for trying out Ubuntu One and thank you for your message. Right now, we do not have plans to increase the storage capacity of the free plan. I encourage you to try out some of the other sync features like Contacts and Notes and consider if, in your opinion, it is worth it for you to upgrade to the higher capacity paid plan. If not now, maybe in the future when we add more features to the plans. Thank you.

Can you help with this problem?
